Apostasy Proves the Truth of Catholicism
The Catholic Church has been undergoing a battle with the forces of Hell for some time now. Freemasons laid out their game plan to Infiltrate the Church with false ideals in their document the Alta Vendita. We also know that Communists had plotted to put their men into the seminaries, through Congressional testimony from Bella Dodd.
Not surprisingly, many have been tempted to fall away and abandon Holy Mother Church because of these scandals. Even the Apostles, save St. John, all abandoned Our Lord during His Passion. St. Peter denied Him, Judas betrayed Him, and the rest fled. Only St. John remained, which is only 1 out of 12.
However, the seeds of apostasy we see all around us are not reasons to leave Our Lord's Church. Rather, it is further confirmation that she indeed is the one true Church. Sacred Scripture warned us that such times would come towards the latter days. Since we see them coming, we can be assured we are in the true Religion. And more than ever, we need Saints to imitate St. John the Beloved, not to follow Peter in his denial or Judas in his betrayal or the other nine in their cowardice.
Luke 18:8 When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?
2 Thessalonians 2:3 No one is to deceive you in any way! For it will not come unless the apostasy comes first.
1 Timothy 4:1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
2 Peter 2:1-2 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed.
Matthew 24:10-12 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.
Our Lady of Good Success, 1610: “Depraved priests will scandalize the Christian people.”

Our Lady of Fatima, 1917: “Apostasy will begin from the top.”
Pope St. Pius X: “The great movement of apostasy being organized in every country for the establishment of a One World Religion.”
The Devil is fighting hard in these days and his attack is aimed at the Church founded by Our Lord. But we know that the gates of Hell will never prevail, and that in the end, Our Lady's Immaculate Heart will triumph. The next time someone points out that the Church is being attacked and therefore can’t be true, remind them that it is precisely because of this reality that she indeed is the one and only true Church.
