Francis of Rome calls heretical groups “different historical expressions of the Christian faith”
The denial and demolition of the dogma No Salvation Outside the Church continues unhinged with the New Order system. Francis sent a message to the Fourth Global Christian Forum in Ghana, saying that heresies are “different historical expressions of the Christian faith.” Here are some relevant portions of Francis’ letter:
“Your assembly has participants from all over the world, which reflects a beautiful mosaic of contemporary Christianity with its rich diversity while still founded on our shared identity as followers of Jesus Christ… Unity is an indispensable element for embracing the vision of the Kingdom of God. As such, there is an intrinsic bond between ecumenism and Christian mission. Throughout its history, the Global Christian Forum has contributed significantly to the promotion of this bond by providing a space in which members, especially those from different historical expressions of the Christian faith, grow in mutual respect and fraternity by encountering one another in Christ… May this gathering, on the forum’s silver anniversary, deepen your faith… To all of you, I invoke the blessings of Almighty God, and pray that the gathering will advance the visible unity among all Christians.”
The Global Christian Forum is an ecumenical group comprised of members from the Baptist World Alliance, Church of Christ, Lutheran World Federation, Pentecostal World Fellowship, Seventh Day Adventist, Eastern Orthodoxy, World Methodist Council, and also has members representing non denominational megachurches.
These are all heretical groups, and together they showcase the indifferentism and relativism that permeates the ecumenical movement. Yet Francis calls them a “beautiful mosaic of contemporary Christianity,” and “different historical expressions of the Christian faith.”
These statements are scandalous at face value, because they equate Our Lord’s religion with heretical groups. They also give a new spin on heretical movements, calling them “different expressions” of the Christian faith. Can one imagine St. Athanasius saying such a thing about Arianism? And equating the term ecumenism with Christian mission again demonstrates that the New Order model sees missionary activity as nothing more than “dialogue” wherein we all celebrate our “diversity” and be kind to one another. As well, we again see the principle error of the ecumenical movement, namely that it denies from the four marks of the Church: she is One. She already possesses perfect unity, so we do not need to “advance the visible unity.” Insofar as individuals in these groups remain obstinate in their heresies, they do not belong to the one true Church.
2 John 1:9 Whosoever revolteth, and continueth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God.
“This is why they try to draw the Italian people over to Protestantism, which in their deceit they repeatedly declare to be only another form of the same true religion of Christ, thereby just as pleasing to God. Meanwhile they know full well that the chief principle of the Protestant tenets, i.e., that the holy scriptures are to be understood by the personal judgment of the individual, will greatly assist their impious cause. They are confident that they can first misuse the holy scriptures by wrong interpretation to spread their errors and claim God’s authority while doing it.” Pope Pius IX, Nostis Et Nobiscum, 1849.
Pray for the repentance and conversion of Francis of Rome.
